Gyprock Soundchek™

Gyprock Soundchek™ has been designed to provide increased acoustic resistance in wall and ceiling systems. Gyprock Soundchek™ is machine made sheet composed of a high-density gypsum core encased in a heavy-duty linerboard. Long edges are recessed to assist in producing a smooth, even and continuous surface once jointed. Gyprock Soundchek™ is manufactured to AS2588 - 'Gypsum Plasterboard'. The face liner is coloured yellow.

Gyprock Aquachek™

Gyprock Aquachek™ is designed for use in lining the internal walls and internal ceilings of 'wet areas' of residential and commercial buildings. It is machine made gypsum plasterboard with a core, face and back linerboards treated to make it resistant to moisture and humidity. It is manufactured to satisfy the requirements of AS2588 – 'Gypsum Plasterboard', and the water resistant requirements of ASTM C630. It is encased with light blue/grey linerboard and the long edges are recessed.

Gyprock Impactchek™

Gyprock Impactchek™ is high strength plasterboard designed for high impact areas. It is composed of a glass fibre reinforced gypsum core plus a fibreglass mesh bonded to the inside of the back face. It is encased in a violet linerboard and the long edges are recessed for flush jointing. Gyprock Impactchek™ 13mm can be used for fire rated applications.

Gyprock Fyrchek™

Gyprock Fyrchek™ can be used in wall and ceiling systems where fire resistance is to be achieved and is useful where improved acoustic performance is required. Gyprock Fyrchek™ is machine made sheet composed of a specially processed glass fibre reinforced gypsum core encased in a heavy-duty linerboard, which is pink on the front face.

Gyprock FyrchekMR™

Gyprock FyrchekMR™ is a moisture and fire resistant 10mm plasterboard. It is designed for residential applications in fire risk areas where no FRL is required. Compared to 10mm Gyprock™ plasterboard, tests have shown it to be 25-50% better at resisting the effects of fire on walls and ceilings where there were no penetrations or openings. The face liner is coloured blue/grey.

▫  Good work back characteristics after setting to allow polishing of mitres and joints

Gyprock™ Topcote 550

Vinyl-based cements designed for use as the finishing coat, filling over base coats.
