DeMar supplies only seasoned redgum firewood. Consequently, by choosing DeMar firewood you will be helping to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Firewood heat is directly proportionate to the density of the timber; the denser the timber, the hotter and longer it burns. As redgum is a naturally hard and dense timber, it's an excellent and popular choice of firewood.

DeMar firewood is split, dry and clean. Logs are approximately 300mm long and available in a variety of quantities: 20kg bags, 100kgs (approx. a car boot load), 1/4 tonne, 1/2 tonne and 1 tonne variants.

Small Split Firewood

If the averaged size log is not compatible with your fireplace, DeMar offers a firewood re-split service to cater for the smallest of fireplaces. DeMar's 300mm long logs are split down the middle, reducing the normal 200mm thickness by half. Re-split firewood retains its length of 300mm but is 100mm in diameter (please note: all dimensions are approximates only). DeMar has been servicing a vast variety of fireplaces for over a decade and has something to suit every shape and size, please enquire about the right split for your fireplace today.

Jiffy Firelighters

Jiffy Firelighter cubes deliver an odourless and smokeless flame. Each cube ignites instantly and burns for up to 13 minutes.

Kindling

DeMar kindling is produced from both seasoned pine and hardwood offcuts from a local processing operation. Seasoned pine is extremely easy to light and burns very hot and fast. Seasoned hardwood is an excellent fire starter when used in conjunction with seasoned pine. Using DeMar kindling to light your fire eliminates the need to split firewood into an appropriate tinder size.

Briquettes

Briquettes are the perfect partner for wood; they offer a wood fire more intense heat and a slower burning time. Briquettes are suitable for most wood heaters and open fires and are available in 20kg bags.

Eco Logs

Eco Logs are an all wood product comprised simply of clean, dry sawdust and shavings that have been mechanically compressed to form a solid log. As an alternative to natural firewood or as an excellent kindling source, Eco Logs burn cleanly, hotly and with very little ash residue.

Firewood Policy

DeMar has undertaken to implement the following principles in selling firewood

Only seasoned firewood that meets the minimum standard of moisture content will be supplied.

Information on the type and source of firewood will be provided on request.

Delivery Policy

All firewood is delivered on tipping trucks and is tipped on location.

Delivery is considered as closest point to delivery address which is accessible by truck.

Whilst all efforts to deliver firewood to desired location will be made, this will be at the sole discretion of the delivery driver.

Delivery timeframes are usually 1 - 5 business days depending on required split of firewood.

A confirmation of order will be made within 2 business days.

Cancellation Policy

The customer reserves the right to reject delivery of order prior to being loaded (approx 2 hours before allocated delivery time).

Should the delivery of firewood be rejected after loading, then delivery charges apply.

Once delivery of firewood is delivered and tipped then No Refund Policy applies.

Privacy Policy

DeMar Timber & Hardware will not supply any details collected from this site to any 3rd party.

All details supplies will remain completely confidential.
